Unsolicited seed shipments

NPB Members are working closely with the USDA Animal & Plant Health Protection Service to investigate the delivery of unsolicited seed, apparently of foreign origin, to citizens across the country.  The type of seed in these packages is unknown, but could include noxious weed seeds, or may harbor plant diseases and pests, and could pose a risk to U.S. agriculture.

Anyone who receives one of these packages is asked to save the seed and any packaging or labels, and contact your local state plant regulatory office.  Do not plant the seed.

Please follow this link to find the contact information for your state, to submit a report and receive additional information (https://nationalplantboard.org/membership/).

Thank you for helping to protect U.S. agriculture.
